Roberto is a Brooklyn native with a strong passion for visual storytelling through camera work, photography, and film production. Raised in the Borough Park neighborhood, his early love for drama, thrillers, horror, and action films naturally evolved into an interest in cinematography and on-set production. After graduating from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in 2021, Roberto enrolled at Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC), where he transitioned from an Animation major to the Video Arts & Technology major. There, he found his groove behind the lens, earning two Best Cinematography awards at both the CUNY Film Festival and the BMCC Film Festival.
Roberto has gained hands-on experience as a camera assistant, camera operator, and production assistant across various projects, including student films, live events, and community-based media. He has worked with organizations such as ¡OYE! Group, Behind The Rabbit Productions, and the Borough of Manhattan Community College, supporting camera teams and production crews.
Whether helping prep gear, assisting on set, or capturing striking visuals through stills and video, Roberto brings a grounded, detail-oriented approach to every project. He’s currently focused on deepening his craft in the camera department as a camera assistant, camera operator, and cinematographer while also seeking opportunities to contribute as a production assistant for companies across film, television, commercial, and community-based productions. With a strong work ethic and a genuine love for the production process, Roberto is eager to keep learning and supporting creative teams wherever he’s needed.
